It really is painfully slow, especially when you have to backtrack or forgot something. Is there a way to make you move faster? I'd also be very fine with some .ini tweaks that do that. Just let me run faster.

There is a spell for this called Fleet Foot. It isn't great at first but it improves after you've promoted your caster.

Isn't there Fly, Lloyds beacon, Teleport or Town Portal spells like most other might and magic games?

Beacon and Town Portal, yes. No flying spell though.
