and i looked through the first page to see if it was solved anywhere... so i have a new problem?
when i start MM6 i get audio, but no video, i get a grey screen, though when i alt-tab out after i get it, i can see for a split second, then it freezes (video, not sound) or goes back to the grey screen.. on reading some of the problems, i downloaded the 1.7.2 patch, the C++ thing, and tried running it in compatibility mode.
when i run it in compatibility for 95/98, and NT it doesn't even open and says it had an error and stopped working.
i really hope this is an easy fix, or i may have to just wait until i get back to my other computers and give it a try on them... maybe with more luck
it runs fine for me and i don't know about any bug fixes, so the only advice i can give you s to contact the GOG support team.
I'm running XP x64 and have no problems either. What OS you're running the game on? Also this may be trivial question, but are you certain you meet all requirements? They are higher than for normal M&M games.
Of course contacting GOG Support is probably the best thing to do.
i'm running vista home premium 64 bit...
and i'm pretty sure i meet the req's
core 2 duo, T6400 @ 2 GHz
4 Gigs of Ram
and only an integrated video card, but that should be good enough considering it runs newer games than mm6 just fine... i may try my other two computers, at least i have that option.
ok... so... i didn't do anything, but it just started working... strange... i guess it didn't want to work when i was trying to play it at 28k ft in the air (and yes, i was on the internet at the time too... its pretty nifty
