I'm playing MM3. I went into the Beta dungeon and then teleported to the Main Engine and back. Now all six characters in that party are over 120 natural years. I already visited the fountain of youth to remove about 10 hours of unnatural aging. The calendar says the year is 600. I can't play anymore because of this natural aging bug. I've tried to find a save game editor, but the only one I can find was written for earlier operating systems. I'm using Windows 7. I tried running the mm3 editor in compatibility mode, but that didn't work.

Here you go:

I'm using Windows 7 too and I used this editor because of the same problem. On the main character edition page you can change the date of birth.
Hi there. Thanks for replying. That's the editor I tried to use. I get an error saying I need to use a 32 or 64 bit application. I tried running the program in compatibility mode. Did you have to do anything special to get it to work with Windows 7? I'm really stuck. I spent 4 hours late last night trying everything I could think of.

Most probably you have Win7 (64) while I have (32). But it's not a big problem - you can run this editor with DOSbox (let me know if you don't know how to do that)

I tried running the program from a DOS window, but not sure if that's the same thing you are referring to.
Unfortunately DOSBox doesn't like long names so we have to make a workaround ;)
1) Create a new folder on your C drive. Name it "MM3" for example (so the path to it should be c:\mm3)
2) Copy mm3edit.exe to c:\mm3 folder
3) Find "Might and Magic 3" folder where you have your game installed. You should find your savegames there. Their names are SAVE00.MM3; SAVE01.MM3 and so on. Copy all of them to c:\mm3 folder
4) Open DOSBOX folder (it's in the main Might and Magic VI Limited Edition installation folder) and run DOSBox.exe
5) Type:
mount d c:\mm3
d:
mm3edit
6) That should run the editor. Make your changes there and save edited files
7) Copy back savegames from c:\mm3 folder to the "Might and Magic 3" folder
8) Run the game and enjoy your youger party ;)

That worked! Thank you so much! I just knew there was a solution out there. I should have posted in these forums last night instead of stumbling around. Now back to MM3!
