I'm playing MM9 for the hundredth time. I have always loved it. I'm just confused with the gog version. I created my party, named them, hit enter after every name... but the names don't save to my characters when I start the game! Help!

I don't know why the names aren't persistent. How are they called once you start the game? Maybe it's a rights issue. Try running the game explicitly as admin by right-clicking its shortcut and select run as administrator. Further don't install the game into Program Files, but to a custom location on C:\ like C:\GOG Games\

I fixed this issue by naming 1 character at a time, pressing enter, and then clicking the party over view tab before pressing tab to move to the next character. I have to do it for every single character. -_-
