Well it seems i have fixed my probleem with the help of a patch listed here in the forums,and im very happy.I love MM6,graphics are nicer then the other might and magic games,at least i think so.ISLES OF TERRA is good too,but graphics are off.anywho,since its my birthday,im gonna place all day on MM6.have a good one.thanks for the help.

Which patch and which problems?? This might help in diagnosing future problems...

I suppose it's the unofficial 1.6 patch. That's the only one I'm aware of that is mentioned here and is not included in the GOG release.

I wish I could get that patch working properly, but the sound lag is too damn annoying for me to use it.

Well my friends,good luck only last so long,my game has crashed a few more times,and here is the message im getting.---error sigature-app name-MM6.exe.app-ver1.0.01mod name smackw32dl,i got no clue what this means,only thing i know is DL,is dynamic library.So any help would be great.not a happy dude at the moment.thankyou.

Smackw32.dll has to do with the smacker encoder they used for the videos. I would try to reinstall the game again. The smacker player is normally included in the game but if the 3rd party patch added smacker video and you don't have the player you can get it here:

The RAD video tools, hopefully just downloading and installing that will get it to work with your game.

Hmmm... Indeed, the error message suggests it has something to do with that encoder. However, it's odd it only shows now. Maybe the player's files got corrupted?
Anyway, DLing the player's new version should indeed help.
