Sarisio: That vague hint is about 2 fake walls in corridor behind gong. Btw, check all torches in that corridor (the part which is closest to treasure room), one of them (which doesn't have word "torch" written when you point mouse at it) has 5000 gold. Hint is vague because treasure room has a lot of gold for that stage of the game.
Actually any rock, tree, torch etc that's capitalized will have some kind of secret stash hidden in it.
The peasant in White Cap keep talking about a "secret pass in these mountains that can take days off your travel". I can't seem to find it and I've explored most of that area... What are they referring to.

No direct spoilers please. If you could just give general directions on what/where it is. Or let me know if it's another one of those things that wasn't implemented in the game after all.

You don't want spoilers, ok. It is connected with puzzle in Shadow Guild. That very Shadow Guild in Frozen Highlands. That puzzle isn't something obvious, so you are very likely to miss it without spoilers.

Is it the 4 teleporters? I solved that (hate to admit but I used a spoiler, after that electricity room kept driving me crazy; solved the riddles myself though).

I thought it would be a physical path.

Thanks for the reply Sarisio.
No people walking around Kriegspire. I assume this is normal and related to why some towns have no (wo)men? Sprite limitations, or something...
I think we're meant to assume that the people who live in Kriegspire find it much safer to stay indoors; it's a pretty dangerous zone. One or two other map areas are the same way (and some, of course, simply don't have any town at all.) But I seem to recall villagers happily wandering around the town in the Mire of the Damned, even as skeletons and harpies attempt to disembowel the party nearby. So if that was, indeed, the idea, they could have applied it with a little more consistency.

ZFR: OK, instead of starting a new post every few hours, I'm going to continue asking MM6 questions in this one.

How is spell skill calculated when casting from scrolls? Based on caster skill? How is it calculated for knight then. If he has 0 skill, shouldn't damage spells (the ones which do x per skill point) do 0 damage?
I don't think the other answer was right about this.
If you notice, the scrolls have different "quality", the cheapest ones are discolored and brown, and the more expensive ones look newer and fancier. I believe this quality refers to whether the spell is cast at normal/expert/master level. I don't know the exact level the scrolls are cast at, honestly scrolls aren't too important in the game, except maybe a fly or waterwalk spell in a pinch.

gammaleak: Regarding Saintly reputation for Master Light Magic...

One tactic is to wait until you have Lloyd's Beacon, then queue up a bunch of completed quests but DON'T turn the quests in for the reward quite yet (these need to be major plot-related quests).

Set Lloyd's Beacon in front of the Master Light Magic trainer and in front of the places where you turn in the quests. Then recall back to each of the quest givers, turn in the quest, and finally recall back to the Master Light Magic Trainer.

That should boost your reputation enough to get it. And by avoiding the passage of time (by using Lloyd's Beacon) your reputation won't deteriorate down from Saintly (as it would if you traveled by horse, etc).
Just as an important aside. In general, Council and Promition quests all raise your rep substantially, _except_ the price fixing quest, which lowers it a lot. Either do this early on, and then donate back to respectable, or if you already have angelic or something I'd wait until you get light mastery. I don't think it is too much of a spoiler to tell you that after you get light mastery, you don't really have to worry about reputation again. (Though you can get put in jail in some situations if you have a super low reputation, but just donating will fix it easily)

During the course of the game I acquired Mordred, the knife, at dragoons keep. I kept this knife for some time, until I found one which I thought was better (some long knife of the gods or some such, doesn't matter). Anyways, during one of my selling sprees, I must have sold the damn thing. The thing is, I didn't complete the quest, to return the knife to the fellow in free haven...so.. Is that it for me? Lol, did I just spend countless hours to fail the whole quest story-line due to an errant click of the mouse?! I MUST KNOW THE ANSWER!!!

You can get copy of dagger from dungeon respawn iirc (once in 6 or 12 monthes).
You can also get duplicate from dragons/titans.

But keep in mind, you can only get maximum 12 artifacts/relics in the game. After that they will stop dropping (Mordred should keep respawning in that dungeon though IIRC).

Per the other thread you opened:

You shouldn't be able to sell Mordred. 1) It is a quest item, and 2) It is an artifact.

If you haven't turned in the quest, then go talk to the Seer with the conversation option "I lost it". The Seer should give you another one.

Doesn't GOG automatically update your avatar even in your older posts? I may be mistaken.

They do, but not in:
_ Your quotes in someone else's post.
_ Next to your name under "Created by" in the forum.

That's why I know I wasn't using one on 1st Nov 2013 when I created this thread, but was using one by 2nd Nov:
