I just finished trying to install MM8 and the installation process seems to be frozen after the downloading is complete. I still cannot access the game. Is there a way to fix this? I was hoping to play it this week.

Try downloading it via browser (turn GOG.com Downloader mode off).

GOG's downloader does not automatically install the game for you. After it's finished downloading, you need to open the download location (probably C:\GOG.com\ or something like that) (you can also just click the magnifying glass to open the location) and then manually run the install application.

I hope you're having fun in MM8 world. There's not much better than killing some pirates and playing some arcomage.
