Hello everyone,
I have a geek question :)
I have played to MM6 and I have seen many references about "Gods" or deity, eg. Baa, Tsantsa, etc.

Ok, I want to know:
Who are the Enroth's Gods and Deity?
Are they some of the Ancient?
Their names and their story?

I want to know this in order to use them in my RPG campaign :)

Thanks in advance!

Marco
What we know from Might & Magic lore is that the Ancients colonized many worlds, Enroth (and others) included. They also had incredible technology. However, that technology seems to have been mostly lost to the inhabitants of the various worlds, who know live in something similar to Earth's Medieval or Rennaisance age.

So are the gods related to the Ancients in some way?

I think the humans and other races of the worlds are basically the descendants of the Ancients. So the gods that were developed on various worlds are just the religious ideas that came about long after the people there had forgotten their connection to the Ancients. In some cases the gods do seem to have a relationship to the technology of Ancients, however.

***SPOILER***

There is one thing we can say about Baa, however. Baa is a "fake" god set up by the Kreegans with the intention of preparing Enroth for an easy conquest.
Little question off topic? What system are you using for your campaign? I've long thought about doing a Might and Magic campaign setting for ADnD or 3.5 but frankly, I can't really stand the amount of detail and 'micromanagement' that goes into those systems. I was thinking about Gurps Fantasy as a possiblity, thought?

Also, what Gammaleak commented is probably the most accepted 'theory' on the form of deities in the universe. Still, its your campaign so go nuts :D
Ok so, Baa is a Fake.
There are other gods, deity or religion known on Enroth?
Do you know sometings about Tsantsa?
Who are the Gods of The Temple of Fist or The Temple of the Sun?

About the game system I have adopted the rules of the game described on many sites, like Mandate Mania and so on. I have simplified the calculations described on this rules, and using all the object, monsters, abilities, characteristics and spells how they function in the game. The only add on are some little tables to work out Speed recovery and combat situation (hit invisible foes and so on).
It is very simple and ... it is Might & Magic :)
There is one god mentioned by the peasants. If you get "Divine Intervention" option dialogue, they talk about a godess. I really can't remember the name but I vaguely recall it resembling "Eiala" or something (please don't laugh if the name is way off...)
thank you! I never knew that existed!
Sorry to bump an old thread, but I just got the dialogue again. If anyone is still interested, the goddess name is Eyla. See screenshot.
