I'm getting the below error message every time I try to play MM6 on my latop:

The Application failed to Initialize Properly (0xc0150002) Click on OK to
Terminate The Application.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the whole MM game series but still get this error message.
I have no problems running this game on my desk top computer.
How do I fix this????
What OS are you running? Can you give us system specs?

Sometimes older games have trouble in Windows Vista or Windows 7 due to the extra security on these operating systems. You should try running the game as administrator (right-click the shorcut, select the "run as administrator" box) and/or installing to a directory OTHER than program files. To change the install path, hit the "options" button when you run the GOG installer.

Those are two common things that can cause problems... if it's something else, we'll need some more info about your system. What's different between your laptop and your desktop?
My lap top is older and has no internet connection.
It plays all the other MM Games (1,2,3,4 and 5) with
no problems.
My laptop has Windows XP Professional Version 2 Service Pack 2.
My desktop computer has Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2.

MM1-5 all use DOSBox so it makes sense that they all work. MM6 is the only game in the pack that does not.

I did some quick searching and it looks like someone else has had this problem, and the solution is to install the C++ redistributable package from Microsoft:

Give that a try and see if it works.

EDIT:

If that doesn't work, another user suggested grabbing Grayface's 1.6 patch:

Try setting compatibility to Win98 in the shortcut

Did you try the other compatibility settings (Win95 or XP) ?

You could also try disabling visual themes, desktop composition and display caching.

Also the previous link was for the 2008 C++ package - you could try the 2010 update, available here (requires Service Pack 2 or later)
Vista has User Account Control. You could try turning it off and see if the error happens again.
