How in the world do I defeat the Diamond Gargoyle/s in Silver Cove? Playing Might and Magic VI: Mandate of Heaven Thank you.

Immune to physical damage but if I remember correctly Elemental Magic Damage is the way to go.

Diamond Gargoyles are immune to physical damage (including spells like Implosion and Blades) and poison damage (including spells like Toxic Cloud). You'll want to use spells like Harm (which deals "magic" element damage) or Fire/Ice/Lightning Bolt against them. If you need a way for your Knights to contribute, see if you can buy a wand or three at the local magic item store.

A little suggestion: don't sell weapons that deal elemental damage (even if you have a more powerful weapons). They come in handy in situations like this. Especially bows

I usually had a couple swords and bows in my back packs for that reason. My favorite bow was some sort of Fire Bow you occasionally find on a Fire Archer-- but not a bow you would want to use in close quarters.
