Hello.

I am running the latest Grayface version of M&M VI. I have recently aquired Master skill in Bow. Supposedly, I should then be able to throw two arrows at a time. Nevertheless, I fail to notice this. The stats of "Shoot" show no change at all, including the recovery time, and when fighting everything looks pretty much the same. Is this as it is supposed to be or is there some kind of bug?

Thanks.

The second arrow should have the same chance to hit and range of damage as the first one does; there is no change to your stats. Your shoot bonus and damage should stay the same, it's just that now you've fired two arrows. I've often found that one arrow will miss and the other one will hit. Or the first arrow will kill the monster and the other one goes sailing off into the distance. Sometimes they both hit, of course, depending on your shoot bonus and the enemy armor class. But so far as I know, there's no reason for anything else to change. I'm certain that it is not broken, with or without the patch.
Thanks for your prompt answer Shloulet.

From what you are saying it is then expected that when you press the Attack button two arrows are shot. Just to be sure, what is to be expected? I can barely see how many arrows are firing, it is too fast. I do not seem to get that "two strikes" feeling. Maybe I was unlucky when hitting monsters.

I will look further into it. Thanks for your input!

Hi

I have the same situation playing MM7. My version is the one in GOG. I have a master in bow skill and the second doesnt appear in the stats but i notice that there are two arrows being launched. If both arrows hit, does that mean double damage? how does this attack work?

It doesn't appear in the stats because it isn't supposed to appear in the stats - there's no room for it there. Otherwise, it's all as you've quoted - you just fire one arrow more with each shot, it has the same chance to hit (which, in this game, averages around 60-70%) and the same damage. So yeah, if both arrows hit, it is double damage.
