I only have GOG's MM1-6 pack as I already own MM6-8 on my own CDs, but I'm curious, do they come with the GF patches already installed? I feel like they used to, do they still, and if yes, what version are they using?

MM9 comes with the TELP patch, what about the other games?

I'm new to the patching game. What is GF?

I played MM6 and 8 so far with GOG versions and they seemed to me to be the straight up normal games. No changes that I noticed, but I'm not expert.

There is a german language pack for MM8 and MM6 that I see. Also, MM7 has GOG Galaxy cloud saves enabled.

The GreyFace patches, it's the ones from the title of the thread and also linked in the stickes at the top of the forum. It's a modder who created patches that allow the games to be played on Win7+, but also added more features like quicksaves, higher resolution, various bugfixes and other things, like being able to switch off the death cutscene and respawn instantly (you can turn some of these things off, see the changelog for tha patches). On the other hand, in the past some of his patches introduced new bugs, fixed by the next version of the patch(es), currently he stopped updating them and left it at 2.0, they're probably the "final" version for some time now. Last time I played I had 1.5 or something like that (there were many 1.x patches until the 2.0 came).

They're good but at the same time I like some things not being fixed, like having that extra double dagger damage (I think that's actually toggable, I'm not sure).

I know they're there, I wouldn't be asking if I didn't know about them. Given that the patches were being constantly updated until recently (or when 2.0 came out), it would make sense they'd rather sticky them than just keep on updating the games with them, in case they were included. However I do remember some people saying in the past that GF were included in them, so that's why I'm asking if that's true or not.
