This has helped a few people. On some machines, running Miasmata has not triggered the discrete Nvidia or ATI GPU to activate. So instead, the integrated Intel chip ends up powering the game. You can force Miasmata to use the Nvidia or ATI chip by going into your video driver settings and setting Miasmata.exe to use it.

Can you be more specific as to what setting your referring to?

You can right click on the .exe and (if you have an Nvidia card with Optimus tech, for example) there will be an option that says "run with graphics processor" this will give you the option to either run it with the Nvidia card, or the Intel integrated gpu. And if you want the game to run with the Nvidia every time, there's a third option that allows you to set the default gpu to run this game on.
Click it, and a settings dialogue will show up. At the top, just click add and find your Miasmata.exe. After that, below, there will be a drop down menu where you can select which gpu you want the game to always run on. Then just hit apply!

This is something I've become very familiar with, having an Optimus card; a lot of games - especially older ones - won't automatically run on the Nvidia gpu.
I don't seem to have that magical right click and run with bla bla thing is there anything that can be done other then this or do I still have to wait for the fix? :/
