There's a lot of detailed info out which is easier to google than to retype.

Basically:
Last Light Redux is the game with all DLCs (including Ranger mode) and minor improvements.
2033 Redux is 2033 ported to the better looking Last Light engine, change of character models, change of controls, weapon customization, change of AI and other mechanics.

So Last Light Redux - Game of the Year Edition.
Metro 2033 Redux - making it look, play and feel the same as Last Light.
Thanks RSColonel_131st...

So, do I infer correctly if I say 2033 Redux should better be played before Last Light Redux ?
Yes, it explains the first part of the story.

Thank you for your reply! For some strange reason, I had assumed that Redux versions were inferior because they were made for tablets and other mobile devices...I think I read something like that on one of tech sites...GOG did not make it any easier to explain what Redux means on these games web pages...maybe there is more details on some forum page but it means shite to people who want real info on the games web page!!!!! Whoever is in charge of GOG Marketing is ignorant of what people need to know and where they need this info to be displayed!

Where the hell did you read that?

the Redux versions where released as HD remasters for newer consoles like Xbox One and PS4 and like was stated above remastering 2033 in Last Lights Engine with the gameplay and AI improvements in addition to the newer graphics.

Metro Redux as a package was never and is still not released for mobile phones or tablets wherever you read that they were out right wrong or you misunderstood (no insult intended.)

I have to say I am impressed I can run this game on high with tesselation and motion blur off, and get a pretty awesome 40-60 frames on my now ancient ATI 5770.

Thanks again... Then it's strange that GOG started distributing Last Light Redux before 2033 Redux !
