Pessimal: you have to change to the enhanced edition beta channel
that's a weird way to select game.
So if I understand correctly, to play the EE via Galaxy I have to download the base version of the game and then download the EE through the beta channel? If I'm not using Galaxy I need to download only the EE offline installer? Well that's a discrimination... :P
No, you just need to select beta and then you'll be downloading EE version, no need to install base one.

The GoG Team provided an article of how to install the Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition. The linked Gif in the article is pretty much selve explaining:

The Offline installers have been updated as well, both versions can be downloaded separately.
TBH I'd prefer an option with a separate entry in the game library, but this would of course mean separate achievements and separate cloud saves as well.

Smh this doesn't work for me - I downloaded solely the EE-installer but GoG Galaxy keeps on insisting to also install the base game. So what is it?
