This freezes every time at about the 48 minute mark, just after the new year's countdown finishes and the generator fails. This is just before the "Colonel Miller" section starts, based on walkthroughs I've looked at online.

I have done everything to try and fix this, "Checking for updates", "Managing Installation - Verify/Repair", and starting from previous saves. i have now deleted all saves and disabled the cloud. I was going to start over but figured it wouldn't fix itself?

I have e-mailed support on Oct 28 but no reply yet. Any ideas how to start at the beginning of the Colonel Miller section or other ideas how to fix this?

In case others have this problem (which is very likely) that potentially means giving up, after much searching an old post on Reditt allowed me to continue- - - ' if putting resolution at 800x600, quality on 'Low'; aspect ratio 'Auto', advanced physx 'off', tesselation 'off' (saw other posts referencing these settings) and switching to DX 12 doesn't work, it might be worth a try to turn Vsync - 'Full'. My changes were lowering the resolution and Vsync full, the transition to the second part happened and then I returned the video setting back to what I had before.
