If you get pounced on for a quicktime event during an autosave, you'll may as well start the game over from the very beginning; because it'll load you being attacked before enabling any player controls, effectively softlocking.

At least I found it early on so going through the prologue again isn't too troublesome, but let this be a warning to anyone who thinks 'ah just run for the next checkpoint instead of fighting that'.

In Metro 2033 and Last Light (no idea for Exodus), if by such bad luck you find yourself softlocked you don't have to start from the very beginning, you can load a previous (or the current) chapter in the main menu .
