It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I tried to install Metro 2033 and it seems to just hang and stop about half way through. It may have been making some grinding noises also, as if it were accessing the hard drive perhaps (which of course it is), but it was faint, so I can't be sure any noise was relevant. Anyway, it was not responding, and doesn't seem to get beyond that point.

And that was just during the file verification phase! But I couldn't skip the phase because it was not responding. I suppose I could try to skip it before it even gets to that point, but then I don't know if the installation will somehow be corrupt.

However, I don't think there is anything wrong with the file, because I didn't get any sort of error when I downloaded it. Doesn't it compare a checksum or something?

So what should I do?
