I would love to play second classic Metal Gear too, as many others, according to reviews.

I mean MSX one.

He's talking about Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, not Metal Gear SOLID 2.

Yep!... I hope too! Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake was absolutely a real MSX2 gem!
Pretty sure we will get it sooner than later. Let's just wait and enjoy what we have now.
I hope so, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake is my favorite entry in the series.

I hope so too. It's weird they'd release Metal Gear 1 but not 2
They would have to make a new port. The whole point of these releases for Konami was to just make some money, not actually have to do any work.

I think they could just do as they did on Metal Gear 1 and just port the versions that were released on MGS3: Subsistence

Too be honest I already want to play MG2 as I've already finished MG1. Really hope for sooner release. They probably want to integrate some features for progression, since this game have same annoying stuff like codec frequencies printed on CD-case..
I really hope it makes it here, it's one of my favorites. Amazing soundtrack.

That's exactly what they did with Metal Gear. It's the same release that was included in the HD Collections by BluePoint games, not the original DOS version of the game which was pretty janky. Had they included that, considering Metal Gear has always been oficially present on the PC that way, it would make sense to re-release Metal Gear but not Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake.

But considering they opted to reconvert it from the HD Collection release, then it's totally pointless not to do the same with Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake, which is obviously the best 2D Metal Gear game by far, even better than most of the Metal Gear Solid titles (in fact, the first Metal Gear Solid events are largely based on those of Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake).
