Hey! last week i just purchased MSG 1. I played like 45 mins but today i tried playing again and the game crashes. When i try to open it, the screen stays in black for a few seconds and then it throw me to desktop.

Is there any solution?

Seems weird. Did you try to launch it without Galaxy? To do that go to the installation folder and launch the .exe file. Seems weird because if it worked before it should work today.. Maybe delete the configuration file and launch the game again. (you can find them below)
<path-to-game>\*.cfg
<path-to-game>\dxcfg.ini

If that doesnt work maybe unistall and install again. Or contact gog support. They helped me in the past when I had trouble launching a game. (It might take some days since they are busy)

Yeah the support bot is really bad. Just keep trying and eventually they will let you contact the support. If you still can't bypass the chat bot here is how to do it with a script.

Have you tried to launch mgsi.exe using the -w option? If you launch it in windows on an emulator, this might work. Make a link to mgsi.exe, edit the path to "(insert path here)\mgsi.exe" -w
then open the link. Once it starts, remove the -w again. Works for me, and the launcher works as well after that.

Do you have MSI Afterburner running?

I noticed the game crashes when trying to launch and Afterburner is running.
