I've bought the Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection on PS3. Which platform should i play MGS 1 and 2 on, PC or PS3?

Personally, i find the console version of MGS1 quite awkward because of the low resolution. I have nothing against old graphics, but the resolution in MGS 1 is simply horrible.

What about 2?

It's a hard question....As a fan of MGS , I bought the xbox version , long time ago...
I say the PS3 / XBOX 360 have a nice compilation there. All the time, the PC versions were lazy.
I guess Konami doesn't want to humiliate Sony with its PS3 at that time.

The PS3 version is really good, all thing considered.
Of course you will play at 720p witch is a little low, on a 4K tv set, nowadays.
But MGS is a really unique game serie.
The "plus" of the PS3 is that you can also play roughly ALL the MGS !!

You can play, more or less, ALL the MGS and it's rather unique for that.
On PC... well if you can emulate PS3, the result is rather meh for the moment.

Too bad we don't have a nice HD texture pack for the PC versions (I know Konami has no sense of humor with this franchise....).

kinda weird to say its horrible since its a game before the pc's where in the world so graphics are logicale for tiny monitors of what we are used now...
