Hello everybody, trying to play MGSi on Win 10 Pro with DS3 controller (wired), but dont' have any response from the controller.
Keyboard is ok, DS3 is ok (got the original driver for Win10 from darkcloud forumcommunity) and works fine with Win, Steam, Uplay and many others.

Tried antimicro but no DS4windows yet, and I would avoid it if possible, and even with Antimicro opened as admin, game won't let me use DS3 controller.
Also tried with admin and various Win compatibility modes.
Nothing.

I think that the problems is in the file attached. Any help would be appreciated.

edit: managed to solve having Steam opened in background, adding the MGS exe to Steam Library, opening Big Picture mode, under Controller Option, disabling "allow desktop configuration", closing the Big Picture mode, launching MGS from Galaxy opened as Admin

Will Xbox One controller rumble feature be added? AP sensor and bomb sensor B needs vibration for proper functionality.

It's probably obvious, but I forgot to mention that I'm talking about MGS2.

This mod adds controller support for Xbox controllers along with Playstation and steam controllers, it should fix it: https://github.com/VFansss/mgs2-v-s-fix/wiki

I know about this mod, but dislike the changes it bring along.
I don't think this has been mentioned, but DualSense controller works almost out-of-the-box with MGS1.

Since it defaults to DirectInput, you don't need to mess with DS4Windows or Steam, just connect the controller via Bluetooth and you can play. I only had to rebind the triggers and the start/select buttons, everything else is bound correctly by default. The menus use the Japanese control scheme, though - so it's ◯ confirm and ╳ to cancel, not the other way around.

The only issue is that there's no vibration, but I'm not sure if the PC version of MGS1 even supports it at all.
