Which looks / runs better?

The Glide version crashes for most people at a random door about 2 hours into the game.

Some people have trouble getting the D3D version to run at all. I finally got it running thanks to a guide on this forum, but unfortunately when I play the D3D version everything seems to run in hyperspeed. Also I can't play the D3D version in 4k, as it will crash on start with an "unknown error."

Despite those drawbacks, the D3D version absolutely looks better if you can get it working.

About "running in hyperspeed": you can limit the speed / FPS of a game. Either in your GPU settings (e.g. NVIDIA Control), or with a third-party tool like RTSS.

Use dgVoodoo2 and you can try both to see which is best.
