Well this was a disappointment. Going through my backlog and realised I had never played this.

Install and tried to run, crash.

Install the ffdshow_rev4515_20130612_clsid.exe and Xvid-1.3.2-20110601.exe from the installation directory (which is strange that a game would needs these and not install them itself as well) and nothing.

Windows 10 event viewer has

Tried to launch it from the exe, via galaxy on win 10. Tried win 7 as compatibility mode. Nothing

Steam forms suggest that not only will gog never get the latest patch but it is now imposable to patch due to the engine developer going bust and the engine dev needing online activation DRM.

Really hope I did not pay much for this or that I got it for free. This should not be for sale since it does not run, is not fully patched and will never be fixed.

OK, I got it to work.

There is yet another prerequisite that needs installing that the gog installer fails to do.
