After watching gameplay videos of the level the towers are clearly visible when you first land at the beach. But for me those towers aren't there and just looks like fog / the back drop. The gunfire looks like its out of nowhere.



Running Windows 10

i7 6700k

GTX 1070

Graphic settings are on max

Open <path-to-game>\main\autoexec.cfg in a text editor (if the file is not present, simply create it).
Add the following line:
seta g_ddayfog "0"
Save the file and launch the game.

Note that I'm not completely sure about this solution: I can't test it at the moment and I'm afraid it might not work with an older save game.
