This error is due to an incompatibility of the .exe files.
If you want to play any of the expansions you have to rename the Mohaa.exe file (which is in the installation folder) to Mohaa.exe.old then rename the executable of the expansion to Mohaa.exe

For example if you wanna play spearhead you have to rename moh_spearhead.exe to Mohaa.exe

Where does one find the Installation folder? Once I install the games from the GOG site, no Installation folder appears in my computer.

If you downloaded and ran the installer directly, the installer prompted you to pick a directory. Remember what directory that was, and then go to that directory.

If you used GOG Galaxy, go to Settings -> Downloads. The folder is shown in the "Game installation folder" box.

Just for kick i download the game using Galaxy client.
Right click on the game then choose manage installation.

It will show the installation folder if you don't see file extensions check control panel "folder options" -> View
make sure that "Hide extensions for known file types" is unchecked

Here are MOHAA.exe (for medal of Honour) moh_breakthrough.exe (for Breakthrough) and moh_spearhead.exe (for Spearhead)
To my surprise every game works fine (at start it's in 800x600 resolution but it's adjustable in option) straight out the box ...just launch the appropriate executable.
Mind that Windows firewall will ask for permissions the first time you lauch them

Game tested on w7 pro 64 bit using 9x series geforce and the latest forceware (425.31)

Game was crashing when running from GOG app. Renaming executable file did the trick on Win 11.
