Playing Briefing #5 "Day of the Tiger", 1st part (Sniper's Last Stand). Tried it 6 times following the Strategy Guide. I'm unable to continue with the game because the Bodies of the Bazooka team with the required pick up item (Bazooka) are not showing up at the location (per the guide). You can pick up the rockets for the Bazooka, but no Bazooka. Can not complete the first part of the mission (Find the Bazooka team), which means that I can not open the gate to move onto the next part of the mission.
The compass shows the "Ball Bearings" touching the compass arrow (which means I'm at the correct location).

I guess that this problem also relates to me not being able to start the "Spearhead or Breakthrough" games of Medal of Honor either. I tried both normal and safe mode and nothing happens.

Anyone have a solution?

I encountered this problem with bazooka too. I started the mission several times and body with bazooka just doesn't spawn in the place visible on gameplays. I needed to use noclip to be able to go further and wuss to get bazooka needed to destroy a tank in the next level.
