I customized the resolution for the game to support widescreen using the instructions some have posted here and online, but the problem now is that when I watch the rendered cutscenes between levels, the ones with the black bars, they’re zoomed in. This caused a few characters faces to be cut off from the eyes up in a few shots. It’s most noticeable in the boot camp cutscene with the black bars cutting off part of the drill instructor’s forehead and at the end of that scene when Tommy’s eyes are blocked.

On the YouTube walkthroughs of the game, most have the zoomed in cutscenes, but a few have the widescreen without the zoomed in cutscenes. When I asked how they did it, they said they used the setup settings, which I can’t find.

To be clear, this isn’t a big deal, but I’m just wondering if anyone else noticed this and found a solution to it since it’s mildly annoying when watching.

I can’t seem to post any photos here to show examples, but watch a few videos of that boot camp cutscene to see what I’m talking about.
