I have the GOG version but it has issues like not recognizing the keypad so I have installed my original cd's.

What I'd like to do is run a server that includes team deathmatch and objective maps from all 3 games if that's possible. I don't want to create a custom server with mods, just vanilla for now. The only mod I enjoyed back in the day was the realism mod. I was never fond of custom maps, sniper servers, low gravity, etc..

Problem is I don't know the first thing about getting a server up. I naively started up the breakthrough server setup utility and thought it would magically show up in the server list in game. I used a patch from the gamewiki for mohaa (MOHGSFixer) to get in game servers showing. I don't know how to set up a server and get it online so people can see it in the in game server list, or someplace like gametracker.

Also, the server would not be dedicated right away. I'd like to be able to run it for most of the time but I really need a separate computer dedicated to running game servers. I'd like to test this out though. If it worked well I'd try to keep it up as often as possible.

Then there is the thing about hackers and cheaters. I assume I'd need to have something running in the background to help with this.

Any advice? Or point me to a forum that may be able to answer these questions? Thanks!
