I've been playing MOH Allied War Chest for nearly a year and have tried to install several texture mods from GameFront and none of them work! I'm beginning to think this game is no longer moddable.

Any addtional thoughts?

Mods do work, you're probably putting them in the wrong folder.

To be fair, some mods in the main Allied Assault entry on GameFront are for the expansions and aren't intended to run with the base game.

Au contraire.

I've downloaded several texture mods, placed the PK3 files among the others in the 'main', 'mainta', and 'maintt' folders as instructed in the 'read me' files and nothing happens. Some mods don't even include installtion instructions ('read me' files) in the zip files. Regardless, I still knew where to install them. BTW, it's mentioned (when included in their 'read me' files) some of these mods can be used in both the main game and expansion packs as well.

Edit update: Someone from GameFront was kind enough to suggest changing the mod file name by placing a series of 'zzzz's in front of the file name and so, now I can enable the mod!

It would have been helpful if this tip was included in the mod's 'readme' file by the mod's creator.
