I have a question, guys: Does anybody else has a situation, where certain games from 'MoH:AA WarChest' work when they feel like it on Windows 8?

Yesterday I started playing 'Breakthrough', and it was OK. I tried it seconds ago now, and I can't play it, because the game crashes before even opening the start-up menu.

And it's not the first time it happens: I had the same problem before my notebook crashed a couple of months ago. Only after a long time of trying to turn it on did it start working properly, again.

Its less likely that Windows 8 is the problem.

its more likely that its the laptop, the video hardware, the drivers, opengl, DirectX, the resolution settings. Remember this game is from 2002 and dose not support new WIDESCREEN settings natively.

Without out the game crash message, or a BLUESCREEN message or .dmp flie there is no way of knowing.
If you laptop crashes and reboot without leaving messages or BSOD .dmp files , I could also be a power issue with the laptop.
