I have recently acquired many games from the Medal of Honor series both on PC and on Xbox including some games not made available on PC like Medal of Honor European Assault and am enjoying how the games have evolved thru the years. Among these games I choose to acquire Medal of Honor Allied Assault from GOG because of their reputation for optimizing older games for modern OS.

My list of Medal of Honor games(PC versions unless otherwise indicated):

Medal of Honor Allied Assault (including Spearhead and Breakthrough) GOG

Medal of Honor (2010) Origin

I am planning on getting Airborne Assault eventually, although I still have to determine which platform has the best version yet.

I am sad that EA decided to cancel the series for now since they were a lot of quality games that were among the best in the fps genre when they first came out. I also commend the effort made by developers to recruit genuine war veterans of each era to help make the games as realistic as possible within the context of a video game.

For those who have experience playing these games, which would you consider the best and why?
