I've been playing vanilla AA and was wondering if anyone knows how to get the cheats working. I've tried renaming the executable with all the "+set cheats 1" and so forth. I have no desire to ever do the sniper-run in the King Tiger mission again.
In game press ~ to access the console and enable the cheat. Wuss gives you all weapons and ammo. Fullheal gives you full health.

Same problem, but when I do the wuss/dog I get a reply that I must set cheats 1 on the server, I am playing single (i think) I only have the one set of short cuts. Any help appreciated

I unfortunately can't post links in posts. There are videos and how to enable cheats in Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, and the expansions. Just Google it. Hope this helps. It's actually pretty easy to do.
After a long search I have solved the SERVER response problem: try (+set developer 1 +set thereisnomonkey 1 +set cheats 1 +set ui_console 1) in that order.

Hope this help others

Helped me for sure, thanks for posting.
Note, this will NOT WORK if you have "console" under "options / advanced" checked in the in-game options menu!

Apparently, this will override the parameters you set as command line args for MOHAA.exe for the console to be started with. I guess this option just internally makes the game call for starting of the console the same way as would the cmd line option do, and the former overrides the call to the latter. And obviously the console that can be enabled in-game just for things like texting, will not have further parameters on that call, like enable cheat mode...

I had that problem, then got that idea, disabled the console option in the in-game menu, quit & re-started the game with those cmd args to enable stuff, and voila... it works.

Your post was a great help disabling the console in options does work thanks
I have tried this several times, and windows 10 keeps telling me that the path is not valid. Does anyone know a workaround for this?

Are you sure you're entering the command line arguments in the "Target" field and not the "Start in" field?
Also, I can confirm I also had the issue caused by enabling the console through the "Advanced" in-game options. Disabling that, then entering the command line arguments exactly as deepspace1998 wrote (+set developer 1 +set thereisnomonkey 1 +set cheats 1 +set ui_console 1) worked great for me.
I used it to get past the first half of the jeep .30 cal part of the first mission in hard mode, because man, that's a bit much.

Sorry, I really should have updated this. I figured out what was screwing me up, I had inadvertently NOT left a space after the end of the original command line.

Thanks for the help anyway, and have a good one.

Edit: Clarity

I had the "server" response for Spearhead. Setting it as command line arguments instead of in the autoexcec.cfg fixed it. As mentioned earlier.
