Hello fellow Debian users, Ubuntu lovers and Mint freaks!

Here you’ll find scripts allowing you to build .deb packages from your GOG installer for Master of Orion 2. You can install them through DPKG and remove them through any APT front-end (apt-get, aptitude, synaptic, etc.).

I just used the Bottle app on Mint. Uses Wine for windows compatibility. Ran the GOG Galaxy to load and play the DOS games. All is well. Of course I had to up the Cycles in the dos config files.

If you use GOG Galaxy willingly, you are not part of the public ./play.it is developed for ;)

On the other hand, the combination of Galaxy + WINE + DOSBox seems to be far from the best way to run these games. You could easily run them directly in a native build of DOSBox, getting rid of both Galaxy and WINE.
