Not sure why....

Early on it prompted me at the end of my combat turns as it's supposed to. It isn't prompting me now, and I can't find/remember a way to explicitly tell it to bombard (I think that was added in MOO-2).

Bad guys are glassing my planets left and right...I have to keep up :-)

Running vanilla MOO-1 on Win 7 64bit.

Spyder/Arachnyd/Scorpyon/Myron (depending on where you find me)

It depends on amount of weapons in your fleet VS the planet shields. If you dont have sufficient weapons to breach it (for example have unarmed scout, or fleet with few lasers VS some good planetary shield) it will skip a bombaring part at all, unlike of moo2 where you will be prompted to drop your 0 bomb hits in this cases, right.
