I am using Window 7 on my PC.
After exiting the game, I returned to play it the next day.
The game loads normally to the title/menu page but I am unable to access any of the buttons.
I then have to Ctrl-Alt- Delete and use Task Manager to force the program to quit.
The only way that I can make the game work is to reboot the computer.
There must be a solution to this problem?

The first time you ran the game, did you start it out of the installer? If so, you started the game as Administrator, as the installer runs with Administrator rights. Hence, I'd try running the game as Admin (right-click => Run as Administrator).

Try right clicking then left clicking in the game. I recall encountering the same, but a bit of frantic mouse clicking did get it working, and I think it was right click that was needed.

Let me check it.

Edit: Yeap, menus inactive, pressing right click works. And for any DOSBox games, ctrl-F9 should close DOSBox, so no need to reboot.

Thanks for the help!

I have another question.
When I use Alt + TAB to switch between programs, Dos Box often resizes to a mini window.
I normally have to exit out of program and restart the game.
Can you resize DosBox when it has shrunk into a mini window?
And is there a web-link of all the keyboard commands?

Alt+Enter switches dosbox window between fullscreen and window mode
Also Ctrl+F1 brings up dosbox config window (use mouse to pick key/event, then "bind" and "mod1-3" shows witch key combination it uses). I use ctrl+F9 to close the game often for example.

If you meant Moo2 key config i think there is a reference card to download from gog.

No, I was referring to DosBox.
I find it easier to print a hard copy of the commands.

This should be good enough to print :)

Thank you
I had this problem myself, and I believe I discovered an alternative solution for it: Move/rename/delete the files LASTRACE.LBX and SAVE10.GAM from the game directory. It's probably only one of those that causes the problem. I'm guessing the latter, but I haven't tested it.
