What might help, out of the link I gave, right at the bottom. But I think, he made an error there, the bold parts.

I think he meant replace the 3 line from the bottom with IPXNET XONNECT YOURIP@ YOURPORT

If this doesn't work, I think you'll have to open a ticket with GOG (I do not have have W10 and I know why ;)

Here is the fix for people with similar problems:

go to your moo2 folder and look for "dosboxMOO2_client", it's a config file.
Then you have to delete the last 3 lines or put a "#" in front of them.
then start the multiplayer as normal and type in "IPXNET CONNECT "INSERT IP" "INSERT PORT" and you are good to go.
do this while using hamachi or tunngle.

is that the outline, those bold words, for the person who plays the client start-up instead of the host start-up for "launch multiplayer"

other than that i will be trying to figure out hamachi

Client, the host does not need to do anything.
