1) You gave no description of the failure,
2) What happens when you use the vanilla dosbox setup provided by GOG?
i finally got about playing MOO 2 and MUST say that the default DOSBox settings of the GOG version is too fast. it automatically used MAX cycles. that seems to stutter the sound and slow it down sometimes, and then crash. it should be set to around 26000 cycles or about the speed of a Intel 486 machine. i think the MIDI emulation also seems to crash the game sometimes, so it's safer to turn it off in the SETUP prog of the game, or just use Soundblaster.

as for OP's concern, yeah we need more info. AFAIK DOSbox works just fine in Win10 . not sure about Win11.
