I bought a msi GT72 DOMINATOR PRO G-034 and can not get the game to the player menu, any ideas?

This is for the newest version Master of Orion Conquering the Stars

The forum for the MOO reboot is over here and there's already a thread about that topic. The devs are informed about the problem, and all we can do is wait. It really sucks, but that's early access.

EDIT: Also, you can roll back to an older version of the game if you install it using GOG Galaxy. This bug was introduced in one of the newer versions.
