Hi there, yesterday I played MoO2 for the first time after an almost ten year break. Something that originally made the game very appealing to me was the different character graphics during the reports. However, in my memory there was two (or rather three, if you include the diplomats) graphics for every race. Of course there's the character you see when choosing the race and during audiences etc., then there's the scientists and spies. However, as far as I recalled on some occasions you would also see a warrior. I thought this occurred after successfully invading a planet, however, apparently I was wrong, as I used ground troops a whole lot yesterday but didn't get anything like this. So was I completely wrong or do warriors show up on some occasions? If so, when?

Edit: Okay, it seems I just found the answer myself by pure coincidence on a post about 4X games in general (where someone complained about the fact that in MoO2 it is too easy to get enemy technology by invading). So the problem was that my technology was far too advanced in comparison to my enemies, so there probably wasn't really anything to learn. Well, I guess I've gotta kick some Psilon ass to finally see my soldiers. :D
