As the Darloks, no less! I usually play the Psilons, since they are my favorite race in terms of personality, but I'm not a fan of their ship design.

Anyway, about turn 475, the Silicoids had a healthy lead, but they were fighting a war with both the Gnolam and Mrrshan, so I jumped in and invaded a couple of their systems almost simultaneously. By doing so, I gained two instant allies, and managed to knock the Silicoids out of the lead, and because I invaded instead of bombing, I drove my score up past the Klackons (who had been in second place) and literally won in the last 3 turns of a 500 turn game.

I really like the design of the Darlock ships! Now I need to play as another race, maybe the Alkari next time.
