I realize you're playing original "vanilla," but I'm curious what you think of the Caster of Magic mod (radical fan patch?) and the changes that developer made to the game.

Also, did the remake make any significant changes to this part of the game?

I have yet to try out Caster of Magic, though curiosity has been growing (ever so slowly) over the years. Some of what I've heard sounds like huge upgrades for the AI, like flyers not engaging you if you aren't able to attack them. If/when I do try it out, I imagine I'll struggle a bit when some of my ingrained cheese doesn't work. :D

I don't know much about the remake, and I have zero plans to acquire it.
