Hello,
I have a program that I have with my original Master of Magic disk. This program would allow you to create new or different artifacts that could be found in game.

It is in the folder. I note that it needs to be dropped on doxbox to work. Any change that GOG will make it so that it can just be added to the start menu or a start shortcut already set up to work for those who are not computer savy?

The change isn't that hard to do yourself. Find dosboxMOM_single.conf and change the line that reads magic.exe to itemmake.exe and the shortcut should run the itemmaker instead of the game. Change it back to start the game.

You can also make a copy of the dosboxMOM_single.conf to dosboxMOM_item.conf and a copy of the "Launch Master of Magic" shortcut to "Launch Item Maker", as long as you change the target field from ""C:\Games\GOG\Master of Magic\DOSBOX\DOSBox.exe" -conf "..\dosboxMOM.conf" -conf "..\dosboxMOM_single.conf" -noconsole -c exit" to ""C:\Games\GOG\Master of Magic\DOSBOX\DOSBox.exe" -conf "..\dosboxMOM.conf" -conf "..\dosboxMOM_item.conf" -noconsole -c exit"

Feel free to ask if you want more info :)
Similar to what jMich said, here's how I solved the problem: http://www.gog.com/forum/master_of_magic/using_the_item_maker/post3
Thank you all for your replies. I've been using DOSBOX for years. I was more concerned with those who might not know how to get it to work.
I recall using this back with my original Master of Magic run. Any possibility of it getting added to the package on GOG? Maybe just wishful thinking...

ITEMMAKE.EXE should already be included in the game files, so take a look at previous posts to see how to run it.
