I just downloaded MOM and was ecstatic to find that the game was as good as I remember. However, after a couple of hours playing, the game crashed - and after I started it back up, all of my saved games had disappeared. Has anyone else encountered this problem? And if so, are those saved games recoverable? A couple of hours isn't a huge loss, but I'd hate for this to happen often. I'm playing on default configuration.

OK, update on this - a couple of boot-ups later, the saved games are now back. I have no idea what's going on.

Are you maybe running win7 or vista and ran it as admin the first time but didn't the second and have done so again now or the other way around where you didn't run it as admin then tried to?

Yep, using Vista.
* First time I started (when I made the saves and it later crashed) I was not in administrator mode.
* Second time I started (when it couldn't see the saves) I was not in administrator mode. I started a new game to see if that would get it recognising the saves, but it didn't.
* Third time I started I tried in administrator mode, I could 'continue' from the game I started the second time, but I couldn't see the saves.
* Fourth time I started (an hour or so later) I was not in administrator mode, and could see my saves.
Doesn't seem to be an issue now as the saves are always appearing. Cheers for the post, anyway.

In the installation folder, the saves are under the name SAVE*.GAM so that doesn't really clear the issue.
