When I download the cloud saves no saves are downloaded into the cloud saves folder. Anyone know why the cloud save feature is not working for me?

I came here seeking an answer or explanation as well. I have cloud saves enabled in the GoG client on my desktop and laptop but I can't see the game I started on my desktop while on my laptop.

I contacted support about this. At first, I was told that cloud saves don't work with the mod. So I tried with the base game and it didn't work with it either. Just received this update:

"And I just checked the game and I'm afraid that since recent update it cloud saves program is no longer compatible with the game. I will inform developer about this."

I used to run the game from my OneDrive folder so I could play from any computer I was on but with the game (supposedly) updating automatically, I installed into a local gog directory. I guess I should put it back onto OneDrive and set up symlinks.

More than one year, and still not working :(

Cloud saving isn't officially supported, ever since the game has been published by Slitherine. Probably because of Caster of Magic inegration.
Maybe the new version of Caster of Magic for Windows 10 will allow them again.

Actually, if GOG does this the same way as steam than the cloud saves are there, you just can't see them. You can, however, click their slot and load them. I don't know about GOG, but unfortunately steam does not seem to move the MAGIC.SET file into the cloud overlay even if I delete it from the local folder and let the game recreate it. This is what would be required to preserve the actual save game names across the cloud, as they are stored in that file, not the saves themselves.
