If I work for my money, should I be pissed because someone else wins some? Or receive as a gift?

Some will be. Others will be a bit more reasonable about it. I bought The Witcher and Fallout 1 and they were later given out free here on GOG. Didn't bother me.

When they bought it they obviously felt it was worth it to pay the amount that they did. As a result they also had the opportunity to play it before we did. Some games I purchased at full price and soon afterwards they went on sale. I was still happy with my purchase, because I did not want to wait for a sale.

Well, I accidentally clicked on the banner (owned the game already), and surprisingly received a gift key after a few minutes.
Was that supposed to happen?

They gave out witcher for free! I paid money for that. I'm so pissed!

Well, not really. But you know, some people feel that if they bought the game at full price, how dare anybody get it for less than they paid...ever.

When did they give The Witcher out of free ? I must have missed it, just like I missed the EE giveaway.

Anyone who had the, so called, balls to be angry would be one piece of work.


I preordered SimCity 2013 edition and it was a fiasco. As a way to express their appreciation and or apologies over the game they gave away a choice of free games....most were older games but there was a small variety of selections...


People were actually mad over the choice of free games......games they did not have to offer at all.

Feelings of entitlement seem to run amok in some people.

Yes, it works as intended.

I bought it the day before it was given free. It was $3. I'm not going to get upset about such a good deal!

Deciding what choices to make and when is the game of life.

I feel lucky that I'm even able to participate and get any of what I enjoy, paid or free.
