Hello,

My computer runs Windows 10.

I encounter a strange phenomenon : my game is never saved.
When I play, I unlock new levels but when I leave the game and I come back, my new levels have disappeared.

I found that the file "C:Users\<My name>\Documents\My Games\Magrunner\YoshiGame\Magrunner_auto_save.sav" was the file that is containing my save games.
I changed it with an empty file : the game restarts from the beginning.
I found a finished game save file on the interner and used it : I have all the levels unlocked.
If I delete the save game file, the game crashes... it cannot rebuild it.

The save game file is read by the game but it is never written.
The modified date of the file is never changed.
The empty save game file is always empty.

I uninstalled and re installed this game but it never changed. The save game file is never deleted. And if I rename the "C:\Users\<My name>\Documents\My Games\Magrunner" folder then the game crashes.

I found that, on steam, this game can save on a cloud.
I think that a parameter makes this game read the save game file on my computer but it tries to write the save game on the cloud or elsewhere.

The first time I installed the game, long ago, the save game file was working fine but this phenomenon happened after a new version of the game.
And this discouraged me to play this nice game.

Regards

Hello,

finally, I solved the problem myself.
I don't know the real origin of the issue but it seems that the problem comes from my "Document" Folder.
The windows rigths of this folder were OK but a very few application among them was magrunner were not able to save in my document folder.
Then I created a new document folder and I moved my old document folder to this one.

And it worked...

If it can help....
