So I found Brashem in the forest clearing. and spoke with him. I found a video on youtube of someone playing this section and saw that they clicked on what looks like a chest , but when I click on it D'arc will not do anything but say he shouldn't poke around without a reason.

I also cannot leave the forest clearing because D'arc says I need to finish investigating...Not sure if I've missed something or if I'm truly stuck. I did this in a different order than the guy who made the video because he still has the conductor and mine was taken by the goblins. Anyway, no matter where I click I cannot get D'arc to look at the box with Brashem's items...

I ran into this exact same situation, I gave up and loaded a previous save file and continued the main plot. Probably a bug I think?
