Hello dear developers,

I've already asked my question on Steam but since there has been no answer yet I'll ask it here as well. It may be of interest for other GOG-useres as well: I made the sorrowful experience to buy some games on GOG where the developers didn't take updating the GOG-versions regularly. Some of them can be even considered abandoned - for months or even years. I love GOG because I like my games free of drm-infection, so I would prefer buying my game here (I suppose the Steam-version is drm-ified?). So my question: Do you intend to update your game on a regular basis here on GOG?
I've been waiting for this beautiful game since 2012 and I'll definitively purchase it - but the question is: GOG or Steam.

Thank you for your help and congratulations to the release!

edit: My question has been answered on Steam:

"The game is DRM-Free on both GOG and Steam, however, both of them use plugins to handle achievements on the Steam/Galaxy galaxy clients, as they need to "talk" to the Steam/GOG api. For that reason, the game won't run without these .dll (.so on Linux) files being present in the game folder. While it's not DRM, some people just don't want the game connected to Steam dlls in any way. For that reason, we have a true DRM-Free version available on the Humble Store - but be aware that savegames between that version and the Steam/GOG version will be incompatible.
And yep, we'll be keeping the game up-to-date on all platforms and for all OS's that it's released on. :)"
