No, Mafia: Definitive Edition is a brand new, built from the ground up title, requiring purchase to play across all PC and Console release platforms.

I expected as much that they wouldn't give away a free game they spent millions on and years developing to people who paid a couple of bucks for the 20-year-old original.

Since GOG mentions on their product page for the Mafia Definitive Collection that 2K account access is not supported, that likely means all the skins, outfits, and custom vehicles are NOT included in this release (which is fair). Was there bonus content levels removed from the Mafia II DE because of this accounting requirement that GOG users will not be able to experience? I could care about avatar flare, but missing levels is unfortuate.

And incase anyone is wondering, YES it is wrong to ask GOG to gift you Mafia for free because you own it on Steam.

There are no exclusive levels tied to 2K account. All 3 main DLCs are present in M2 DEmake.

That we won't get the game for free was to be ecxpected.
In the case of part 2 and 3 we got them for free, part 3 is stil the same as before, while part 2 got minor changes.


According to the shop page, the additional DLCs connected to the 2k account are not available for the DRM free version.
